Lighting is comprised of many components that need to be considered when selecting the appropriate fixtures and lamps to accomplish a specific task. Selecting the proper lighting for spray booth applications is critical to help optimize quality of workmanship and productivity. The type, colour, and size of the booth has a direct bearing on the number, type, and size of the light fixtures needed to achieve proper lighting conditions. The most common type of lighting used in paint spray booths is panel mounted fluorescent lighting fixtures. These fixtures are mounted/recessed in the booth panels.
